The CLA736 is fitted with two 3-pin XLR female connectors and one 3-pin male XLR connector, the link is constructed using the SIG155 cable. The easy to handle PVC jacket is excellent for fixed indoor and mobile applications. The inner conductors are fitted with a durable shielding. This gives an excellent protection against interference of all kinds such as electromagnetic fields produced by dimmers, electric motors or power cables. The SIG series cables are “all-round” signal cables which are suited for all kinds of applications where reliable signal transmission is needed. Available in lengths of 1.5 and 2 meters.

The connectors that are fitted with gold plated contacts have the advantage of preventing oxidation and maintain performance after years of use. Another great property of gold is that it is an excellent electrical conductor. For comparison, if pure copper has a relative conductivity of 100 then gold is only 31% lower than copper, while nickel is 76% lower than copper.
